Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Prince Adebayo Adeleke has congratulated Muslim on the successful completion of month of Ramadan and celebration of Eid-il-Fitri.

In a messages on Monday, Adeleke urged Muslims to reflect on the lessons of Ramadan and inculcate it in their day-to-day engagements with a view to making lives meaningful for all.

According to him, parts of the lessons are love for one another, perseverance, giving to the less privileged, devotion to Allah and prayers for the state and Nation in general.

He said as long as these lessons are exemplified in the peoples’ daily activities, life will be meaningful for all.

Prince Adeleke also sought the support of Osun people for Governor Gboyega Oyetola and his government, as he has been striving to affect lives generally.

According to him, Governor Oyetola has, over the years exhibited the lessons inherent in the month of Ramadan, even before the period, saying such leader deserves extra support to be able to do more.

BANIK stressed that the exhibition of the virtues enunciated about Ramadan before and during the period have been driving Governor Oyetola in the governance of the state.

These, according to him have been demonstrated through series of his developmental programmes and projects for all as well as care for the aged and less privileged among others.

The Commissioner stressed that through support of the people, Governor Oyetola is willing and ready to further apply the lessons learnt into the governance of the state.
