Former acting Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State, Barr Wale Ojo and the 2018 deputy governorship candidate, Hon. Albert Adeogun have concluded plans to join the All Progressives Congress.

Ojo, who was the a former Osun east senatorial leader of the party, confirmed the development to InsightMedia on Sunday.

He said the process is ongoing and he will “definitely” defect to the ruling party before “soon”.

 

“Yes, the process (defection) is ongoing and I’ll definitely move before the election.” Ojo said.

InsightMedia gathered that other set to join the APC from the PDP are former House of Representatives member representing Ifelodun federal constituency, Albert Adeogun, who was also the running mate to Senator Ademola Adeleke.

Ojo conducted the parallel primaries that produced Prince Dotun Babayemi as the factional governorship candidate of the PDP.
