…..extols the youths for their active and formal participation in grassroot politics.

The Chief Press Secretary to the Osun State Governor, Alh. Isiaka Adegboyega Oyetola, Mr. Ismail Omipidan, engaged youths in Ilobu, Irepodun local government area of Osun State today, 3rd July, 2022.

The meeting was fully attended by members of “Jare Youth Movement,” and  also APC stalwarts in Irepodun local government and Osun Central Senatorial District with the singular motive of spreading the gospel of Oyetolaʼs re-election in the forthcoming Osun gubernatorial election holding this month, 16th July, 2022.

The meeting was also graced by the Chairman of Irepodun Local Government, Bar. (Chief) Rauf Goke Ogunsola, the Oyetola Campaign Organization Secretary for Osun Central Senatorial District, Hon. Fasakin, former Chairman of Irepodun Local Government, Hon. Anthony Abayomi Oyedeji, former Councilor, Hon. Funmilayo Alabi, APC Chairman in Irepodun, Hon. Kamorudeen and ward youth leaders.

While appreciating the moral conduct and commitment of the leadership of Jare Youth Movement, the Chief Press Secretary to the Osun State Governor, Mr. Ismail Omipidan expressed the  uncanny love of Mr. Governor for Ilobu as a town that produced the late Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor on General Administration, Late Bar. Mikahil Adejare Adebisi, who was one of the pillars and strategist behind the actualization of Ileri-oluwa project in 2018.

In his own remark, Hon. Nasirudeen Babatunde Olateju, Honourable representing Irepodun/Orolu at the Osun State House of Assembly, described youth participation in politics as the proper way to bridge the gap between the youths and adults in politics.

With the successful outing recorded this afternoon via the youth engagement meeting, youths in Irepodun are not only ready but committed to the political ambition of Governor Gboyega Oyetola for second term in office.
