The Osun State Police Command said it has commenced probe into the circumstances surrounding the death of a commercial motorcyclist, also known as okada rider, whose body was found in an uncompleted building in Ilesa.
A statement by the command’s spokesperson, Yemisi Opalola, said the deceased was found dead in an the building located around Bolorunduro area of the town.
Opalola had said the owner of the building had reported to the police that a man at the point of death was seen in his house that was under construction.
“Taiwo Asa of Bolorunduro area of Ilesa had reported that he found an unidentified young man at the point of death in his uncompleted house.
“At the scene, police met the man dead and his corpse was deposited at the morgue of Wesley Guild Hospital, Ilesa for autopsy.
“Meanwhile, an Okada Association I.D card with the name -Toyin Oluwaseun was found in victim’s pocket. The victim was aged about 22years. However, investigation is in progress to trace and arrest the perpetrators,” Opalola said.
