Police in Osun State have arrested some youth suspected to be in the State for a mission yet to be revealed.
According to the police public relations officer, SP Yemisi Opalola, an unregistered truck was seen to be conveying some suspected persons from the Northern part of the country to the State.
“On the 15th of August 2022, police officers intercepted a suspected truck, at Oke-Odo around 1530hrs in Osun State.
“The Search was conducted, fourteen (14) men who could not give reasonable purpose of their coming to the State were arrested, and twelve (12) suspected stolen motorcycles were recovered.”
However, the Police PRO for Osun State said the Suspects and exhibits were later handed over to the State CID for discreet investigation/profiling.
