The Kwara State Artisan Congress has commended Governor Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq over the recently organized Kwapreneur 2.0 in which members of the association, especially young people, benefited across the state.
It will be recalled that Kwara State Social Investment Programme (KWASSIP) had recently given an N1m grant to 100 young people each to support their businesses.
In a statement on Sunday, the president of the Congress Alh Jimoh Ayinla Adeshina said the group sincerely appreciates the Governor for extending support to its members.
“We can testify that this program is truly designed to support the masses, especially young people. We benefit hugely from it and we are grateful to the administration of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq,” the statement said.
“The One Million (#1m) grant to each of the beneficiaries will surely go a long way to provide Business Stability and Prosperity which further empowers our members in practical terms. It is indeed a huge relief for young business owners among us.
“While appreciating His Excellency Malam Abdulrahman Abdulrazaq, promised that the Grants Will be judiciously used. Members of Kwara Artisans will ever remain grateful to the Government.”
