The Federal High Court sitting in Osogbo has adjourned the case on the proposed local government elections slated for October 15, 2022, to Thursday, 29th September 2022.
The court adjourned the case on Monday following the application filed by the Osun Independent Electoral Commission seeking to stall proceeding on the matter.
The OSIEC had approached the Court of Appeals in Akure to challenge the ruling of the High Court allowing the Plaintiff to amend their case.
The court adjourned till Thursday to deliver ruling on the latest application of the electoral commission.
In another development, The Allied Peoples Movement (APM) joined in the suit. Both the PDP and the OSIEC did not opposed to the joining the suit.
