Governor of Osun State, Adegboyega Oyetola has commiserated with Arc. Ayodeji Ogedengbe, the owner of Artdeco Interior company whose Osogbo head office was razed by fire in the early hours of Thursday.

The Governor, who visited the scene Thursday afternoon, also sympathized with residents of the area whose properties were also affected. He also advised citizens to be aware of the dangers associated with the dry season.

Oyetola wrote on Facebook, “I sympathize with the residents and business owners affected by the fire outbreak in the early hours of today. Thankfully, no life was lost.

“I particularly sympathize with Arc. Ayodeji Ogedengbe, the Chief Executive Officer of Artdeco Global Integrated Nig. Ltd. whose loss in the inferno is better imagined.

“I commend men of the Federal and Osun Fire Services and Rescue Teams who arrived the scene early and battled for several hours to put out the raging fire.

“As a State, we will continue to provide a safe environment for businesses to thrive, however as citizens and residents, we have a part to play to make our environment safe.

“As the dry season approaches, I urge you all to take fire safety seriously and be alert always.”
