Abosede Afolabi Ogooluwa, the candidate representing the All Progressives Congress for the House of Representatives in Osun State said that the party is certain of victory in all levels in the State .
Ogo-Oluwakiitan, who wants to represent Irepodun/Olorunda/Orolu/Osogbo Federal constituency, made this known on Tuesday as officially flagged off her campaign for the forthcoming general elections, at Nelson Mandela Freedom Park, in Osogbo.
Thousands of APC supports, party leaders, youths and women adorned yellow attires to express their support for the Ifon-Orolu born politician in a carnival-like atmosphere at Freedom Park. Fuji icon, Abbas Akande Obesere was handy to added glamour to the event.
Stating her readiness for the forthcoming elections, she said ” we are fully prepared for the election, and part of our preparations is the flagging off, that we are holding, with our preparations so far, we are optimistic that victory is assured in all levels “.
Speaking on the lost of her Party during the July 16th Governorship Election, she added that “the people have learnt their lessons in the hard way, and they are ready to make amends and the amendments would be voting in all candidates that comes from the party”.
“As part of this campaign, I have been visiting communities, sensitising them and letting them know that they will feel my positive impacts once I get elected into the House ”
“One thing I always say is that politicians shouldn’t think about themselves or their interests, but always put the need and interest of the people first, doing this they gain the People’s trust and support.
The Secretary of the APC in Osogbo, Hon Abayomi Anthony, described Abosede as the right candidate that can represent them in the Federal level.
“Abosede is a special woman, and our party must collaborate and support her to achieve her dreams for this constituency. The people should get thier permanent voters card, PVC and vote her in as the next member of House of Representatives. We believe she has all it takes to be a shining light at the house.
The Chairman of APC Elders Forum in orolu Local Government, Rasheed Oyedele, said with the level of preparations by the party, victory is assured.
Insight Media reports The Independent National Electoral Commission will conduct the presidential and National Assembly elections on the 25th of February 2023 and Abosede Ogo-Oluwakiitan will be hoping to succeed the incumbent member, Olubukola Oyewo who is also from Ifon-Orolu.
