Youths have been advised to identify and take advantages of opportunities available to them and turn it to wealth.
The advice was given the young people in Osun State on Thursday when during the second edition of Osun Economic Summit held in Osogbo, the capital. The programme was organised by Herculean Company limited in partnership with Bank of Industry.
Speaking at the event, Chairman of Niji Group, Farmer Kola Adeniji took the audience through the process of starting a new business and nurturing it to a global brand. He urged entrepreneurs to always look towards creating values, stating that wealth will automatically follow.
“Ensure your businesses is created in V-shape. This will make it easy to expand and fold when the need arises. You need business model not business plans as external factors determine how your business grow. Let me tell all of you that as entrepreneurs, look for opportunities, create solution and value. Definitely, wealth will follow later.” Adeniji said.
In his presentation, Regional Coordinator of NAFDAC in Osun State, Mr Anikoh Ibrahim also explained how the operations of the agency in registering new businesses.
Ibrahim while addressing InsightMedia urged parents to ensure that they train their children, stating that drug abuses has become rampant in the country.
Also present on the panel is the Chairman of Felicia Daniels Communications, Mr Femi Adefila; Regional Head of IBEDC, Oluwatoyin Akinyosoye; BIO Representative, Oluwatoyin Famiro; CEO of Atlantis Group, Babajide Bewaji and CEO of Abebi Foods, Adebisi Olatunde.
Some entrepreneurs were also awarded at the event.
