The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, in Osun State has stated that more permanent voters cards (PVCs) have been printed by the Commision and are available for collection.
Resident Electoral Commissioner, Mutiu Agboke made this known in a statement obtained by InsightMedia on Thursday.
He said the cards have been moved to all local government offices of the Commision for easy access.
“This is to inform the general public that the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC, in readiness towards the 2023 general election and to ensure no one is unduly disenfranchised, has released 20,860 Permanent Voters Cards for collection by the rightful owners in Osun State.
“These PVCs were received from INEC national headquarters on Wednesday 30th November, 2022 and has been batched and moved to all 30 Local Government Area Offices of the Commission in the State.
“The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Osun State hereby call on the general public most especially all eligible Voters who are yet to collect their Permanent Voters Cards, including those who transferred from one Polling Unit to another, to visit the INEC office in the Local Government Area where they registered in Osun State between the hours of 9am to 3pm daily.”
Electorates are advised to come with slips issued to them at the point of registration.
