The Osun State partner for Vote Not Fight, Insight Initiative for Community and Social Development on Sunday took the advocacy visit to the Palace of Olowu of Kuta, Oba Hammed Adekunle Oyelude Makama.
The team led by Jare Tiamiyu while speaking at the monarch, reeled out how the campaign helped in achieving a peaceful election during the governorship polls in the State.
Tiamiyu called on the monarch to join the campaign as the 2023 elections approach.
While speaking, Olowu of Kuta and Chairman, Supreme Council of Owu Obas, Oba Oyelude endorsed the VoteNotFight Campaign.
The monarch called on his subjects and residents of the State to vote and not fight during the presidential and parliamentary elections holding in February and March 2023.
“I Oba Adekunle Makama, the Olowu of Kuta called on my subjects and residents of Osun to vote and not fight. Election is not war.” The monarch said.
