The entire class of Ilemopo Comprehensive High School, Irun Akoko 2017/2018 set held their 5th Annual meeting at Ilemopo on 1st of January, 2023 where the students appreciate the good gesture of Barr. Felix Afe for his contribution to the progress of education in Akoko North West Constituency II.
The President of the Old Student Association, Mr Muhammed Jamiu Omeoza while presenting the award to Barr. Felix Afe, the leading House of Assembly candidate in Akoko North West Constituency ll informed the students that he was one of the beneficiaries of Barr. Felix Afe JAMB SCHOLARSHIP in 2019.
However, he recalled *Barr Felix Afe presented Jamb Scholarship To 50 students from Akoko North West Constituency ll at Oyi Town Hall where Mr. Aladesuyi Joseph A.K.A Jotina and some notable Chiefs at Irun Akoko were invited to distribute the scholarship to beneficiaries.
Mr Muhammed Jamiu stated further that he used the scholarship to gained admission to study Geography and Planning Science in Kogi State University.
He encouraged the MHA Candidate not to relent in his efforts to improve education standard in Akoko North West Constituency ll.
Barr. Felix Afe while addressing the old student appreciated them for the award.
The MHA candidate said he organized the Scholarship Scheme as a result of his love for education.
In his words “I started the scholarship programme while I was still an undergraduate and God has been helping me to contribute to the development of education in Akoko North West constituency ll. In fact, I didn’t know most of the beneficiaries of my JAMB SCHOLARSHIP. It’s a joy that I am privilege to contribute positively to people’s life”.
Being a former student of Ilemopo 2003 set, the PDP MHA candidate appeals to the students to support him in his political career which will open more windows of opportunities to contribute to the development of our people and communities.
