The Magistrate Court in Osogbo, Osun State has remanded Mr Alawode Ridwan popular known as Raddo to Ilesa Correctional center, over alleged murder of Abioye Waidi.
Radoo was charged to court by the police on for conspiracy and felony to murder the victim, which is an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 324 of the Criminal Code Cap. 34 Vol.II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria, 2002.
In the charge sheet sighted by Insight Media, The Case Charge reads: “COUNT II:- That you RIDWAN ‘M’ and others now at large, on the same date, time, place and in the aforementioned Magisterial District, did unlawfully kill one Abioye Waidi ‘m’ and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under Section 319(1) of the Criminal Code Cap. 34 Vol.Il Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002”.
“COUNT I:- That you ALAWODE RIDWAN A.K.A. RADDO ‘M’ on the 22nd day of July, 24th day of October, 2022 and 27th day of January, 2023 at about 9:00AM at Chief Magistrate Court 2, Osogbo in the Osogbo Magisterial District being a defendant on charge number MOS/302/2021 COP VS ALAWODE RIDWAN ‘M’ a.ka. RADDO and 3 ORS ‘M’ did intentionally disrespect the Court by refusing to appear in answering to your charge when the case was called at the said Court on the above mentioned dates and time and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 133(9) of the Criminal Code CAP 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun State of 2002”.
Insight Media recalled that the Suspect was charged with five Count charges at the first hearing in May 21 2022.
The Case charge also reads: “COUNT- That you ALAWODE RIDWAN A.K.A RADDO ‘M, OKIKI SIKIRU A.K.A SK ‘M’, ADEBAYO RASAQ A.K.A ABEFE ‘M’, OLALEKAN AFEEZ A.K.A FISCO M’ and others at large on the 25″ day of July, 2021 at about 5:55am, at Osogbo, Osun State in the Osogbo Magisterial District did conspire among yourselves to commit Felony to wit unlawful possession of Firearm and being members of unlawful society and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 516 of criminal Code CAP 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002”.
“COUNT II:- That you ALAWODE RIDWAN A.KA RADDO ‘M’, OKIKI SIKIRU A.K.A SK ‘M, ADEBAYO RASAQ A.K.A ABEFE ‘M’, OLALEKAN AFEEZ A.K.A FISCO ‘M’ and others at large on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District did unlawfully have in your possession one cut to size single Barrel Gun which you cannot give satisfactory account of and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 27(1)(b)(ii) of the Firearms Act cap F. 28 Laws of the federation of Nigeria, 2004”.
“COUNT III:- That you ALAWODE RIDWAN A.K.A RADDO ‘M’, OKIKI SIKIRU A.K.A SK ‘M’, ADEBAYO RASAQ A.K.A ABEFE ‘M, OLALEKAN AFEEZ A.K.A FISCO ‘M’ and others at large on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District did engage yourselves in unlawful society known as ‘AIYE’ confraternity and thereby committed an offence contrary to and State of Nigeria 2002”.
“COUNT IV: That you ALAWODE RIDWAN A.KA RADDO ‘M’, OKIKI SIKIRU A.K.A SK ‘M, ADEBAYO RASAQ AKA ABEFE ‘M’, OLALEKAN AFEEZ A.K.A FISCO ‘M’ and others at large on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District did conspire among yourselves to commit offence to wit conduct likely to cause the breach of peace and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 517 of the Criminal Code CAP 34 Vol II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002”.
“COUNT V: That you ALAWODE RIDWAN A.K.A RADDO ‘M’, OKIKI SIKIRU A.K.A SK ‘M’, ADEBAYO RASAQ A.K.A ABEFE ‘M’, OLALEKAN AFEEZ A.K.A FISCO M and others at large on the same date, time and place in the aforementioned Magisterial District did conduct yourselves in a manner likely to cause the breach of peace by armed yourselves with one cut to size locally made single Barrel Gun, Cutlass and a black Beret cap with 77 Logo AIYE confraternity use same to terrorizing the innocent citizen of Osogbo and thereby committed an offence contrary to and punishable under section 249(d) of the Criminal Code CAP 34 Vol. II Laws of Osun State of Nigeria 2002”.
Listing the charges of the Suspect, he pleaded not guilty for the offense committed before the honourable Court.
The Judge, Dr Olusegun Ayilara adjourned the case to February 27, 2022 without granting him bail.
