The All Progressives Congress (APC) has accused the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of launching attacks against President Muhammadu Buhari to drive a wedge between the president and APC Presidential Candidate, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu.
In a statement, APC spokesman Felix Morka declared that 2023 will be remembered in Nigeria’s political history as the year of infamy for the PDP.
‘The PDP has tossed every rule of law, ethical standards, morality, decency, civility, decorum in the trash bin in its deviant obsession for power,’ Morka said.
“Just when you think the degenerate PDP has reached the abyss of low, they burrow even deeper into crevices of shame.”
Morka went on to condemn the PDP’s recent statement on President Buhari’s visit to Kano, calling it ‘nothing short of a confessional statement of conspiracy treasonable felony.”
He further accused the PDP of ‘actively instigating and sponsoring fringe violent anti-social conduct’ during the presidential engagements in Kano and demanded ‘urgent law enforcement investigation and prosecution of all participants in this high crime.’
Morka also highlighted President Buhari’s strong relationship with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and declared that the PDP is ‘morbidly tecozyied’ by their ‘cosy and strong’ relationship. He concluded by saying that the PDP’s desperation does not give it the right to incite treasonable acts.”
