The Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN) has ordered members to suspend all operations across the country.
In a statement issues on Tuesday by Mohammed Kuluwu, chairman, IPMAN, he stated that the marketers were also ordered to suspend payment of ordering products from source until further notice.
The association said the decision followed, “the critical situation as it affect our sourcing and selling of product at lost and the action of the authority to impose the selling of product at a lost price on our side”.
It can be recalled that there have been hike in the price of fuel, and scarcity of the commodity, which have made it impossible for Nigerians to get and afford it.
