Hon. Adewumi Adeyemi IREKANDU, lawmaker representing Obokun State Constituency has hailed Senator Ademola Adeleke over his sterling performance in office.
Recall that Senator Ademola Adeleke was sworn-in as governor of Osun State on the 27th of November after he defeated the incumbent governor and candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Adegboyega Oyetola in the 2022 gubernatorial election.
While identifying Senator Adeleke’s contributions vis a vis infrastructure, education, health and economy, Irekandu disclosed that there is no better indication that the peoples’ governor is ever ready to remove Osun from her woods.
‘I am happy that Senator Adeleke has proven his detractors wrong. He did not only better the lives of our people regardless of status or location. Civil servants are also enjoying the dividends of good governance. From regular payment of salary to clearing of arrears he inherited from 12 years of APC’s administration, he added.
Irekandu also stressed that the mood of civil servants, aged and young including vulnerable ones is clear proof that Senator Adeleke has made/is making life worthy of living for our people.
“7 days ago, our party, Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of Senator Adeleke cleared all National Assembly seats and we also delivered Atiku Abubakar at the poll. The people came out strongly to vote for our party because our leader has done so well within 100 days”.
While wishing the governor more active years in service and good health, Irekandu thanked him for being a worthy father figure who is doing so much for the party and State at large.
