The Independent National Electoral Commission has presented the Certificate of Returns to the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and his running mate, Senator Kashim Shettima.
The certificate was presented by the Chairman of INEC and Presidential election returning officer, Professor Mahmoud Yakubu in Abuja.
Tinubu was accompanied by his wife, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, Vice President Yemi Osinbajo and some serving governors elected elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress.
Also present were former Governors including ex-Ekiti governor, Ayodele Fayose and some members of the current federal executive council.
Speaking shortly after the receipt of the certificate, Tinubu described the moment as most celebrated moment of his life.
