Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke has approved the immediate elevation of Oba Kareem Owolabi Aderinto, Iseiku 11, Olu of Idigba, in Ejigbo Local Government, and Oba Taiwo Amuda Taofeek, Alabogunde of Abogunde, in Egbedore Local Government to a Second Class status in the Osun state council of Obas.
A press release signed by the Director of Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr. Bashir Oladipupo on behalf of the Coordinating Director of the Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Mr Femi Ogundun says their elevation is with immediate effect.
While congratulating the monarchs on their elevation to a Second Class Obaship hierarchy, the State government urged the two monarchs to use their offices as custodians of culture and tradition of their different domains to foster love,unity and development without fear or favour,ill will or affection.
It further prayed for their successes on the throne of their forebears.
