Rivers Governor Nyesom Wike has congratulated his counterparts in Oyo Seyi Makinde; Lagos, Babajide Sanwo-Olu and Bauchi, Senator Bala Mohammed on their re-elections.
Wike, in a statement by his Special Assistant, Media, Kelvin Ebiri, said their re-elections in a free and fair processes spoke volume of the country’s advancing democracy.
The Governor said: “I am excited by the cheering news of the resounding re-election of governors Makinde, Mohammed and Sanwo-Olu. I am pleased to express to Your Excellencies the most sincere fraternal congratulations.
“I look forward to us consolidating the bonds of brotherhood and friendship between our States and people.”
Wike urged the governors to use their second terms in office to create a better life, and prosperity for all their people.
