Lawmaker-elect for Ayedire State Constituency, Elisha Oderinwale has described the judgement of the Court of Appeal affirming election of Senator Ademola Adeleke as a affirmation of the voice of the people.
Oderinwale, in a congratulatory message obtained by InsightMedia on Friday, said he believes that the voice of Osun people in the last governorship election is the voice of God.
The lawmakers-elect also said the the victory at the appellate court is just a tip of iceberg in the array of successes lined up for Governor Adeleke and the Osun people.
Oderinwale said “it’s a very big congratulations to our Governor on the victory at the Appeal Court. I called it victory because it’s the victory for the masses of Osun. The judgement has shown that voice of the people is the voice of God.
“This victory is just a tip of iceberg and a pointer to several successes lined up for our Governor and in extension, the people of the State.” He concluded.
InsightMedia has reported that the Justice Muhammed Lawal Shaibu-led panel of the Court of Appeal has upturned the judgement of the Election Petition Tribunal delivered on January 27, 2023.
