Taraba State was recently in the news when another Senator-elect, David Jimkuta, was expelled from the All Progressives Congress (APC), over allegations of gross anti-party activities.
SaharaReporters had reported that the Taraba State Chapter of the party in the Takum Local Government Area made this known in a letter and signed by the party’s council chairman, Honourable Sirajo Sallau.
The expulsion was explained to have followed due deliberation of the report of the disciplinary committee set up to investigate the allegations against the senator-elect, according to the letter titled “Expulsion of Hon. Jimkuta S.U David from the All Progressives Congress, APC, for gross anti-party activities.”
