The Peoples Democratic Party in Osun State has declared mourning period in honour of the deceased former State Chairman of the Party, Hon. Olasoji Adagunodo.
The Party said it is shocked to receive the sad news of demise of the former state chairman and the South West chairman of the party, Adagunodo, whose death occured on Monday.
The State Chairman of the party, Hon Sunday Bisi is particularly saddened that Hon Soji Adagunodo died at a time his wealth of experience was essentially required to build and consolidate on the recent successes of the party.
Hon Sunday Bisi described late Soji Adagunodo as a brother and friend, whose vacuum, created by this sudden death will be greatly felt by the party, both in the state, South West and the nation at large.
In the light of the sad exit of Hon Adagunodo, the party chairman, on behalf of the state working committee and by this statement, directs that all flags at the state secretariat and local government chapters of party be flown at half mast for three days, beginning from tomorrow Wednesday, 10th May, 2023.
While the PDP commiserates with the immediate family, friends and associates the former chairman left behind, the party prayed God to repose the soul of Hon Soji Oluwatukesi Adagunodo and grant him eternal rest.
