The Osun Police Command parades 38 suspects on Tuesday, in connection with robbery, snatching of cars, motorcycles, other items.
SP Yemisi Opalola while parading the suspect at the State Command, explained how some of them were caught in the act.
“The Anti- Cultism unit of the Command while on patrol arrested a notorious cultist and robbery suspect, Saheed Abioye popular known as Anini at the scene of the crime in Osogbo” SP Opalola said.
“Abioye was apprehended at the scene of the crime while other members of the gangster escaped”.
SP Opalola added that he confessed to be a member of Eiye confraternity since 2018 and also a robbery gang specialize in burgling houses in the mid-night.
The suspect further confessed that he operated at Owode- Igbona area, Akindeko Area, Atelewo Area, Ido-Osun Area of Osogbo and Ibadan, Oyo State.
“The suspect, Abioye was an ex-convict jailed in 2018 at Ilesa correctional centre, came out 2020 and continues his nefarious activities before nemesis caught up with him again”.
SP Opalola also added that Abioye would be charged to court immediately after the investigation.
