Ghanaian reggae-dancehall act, Shatta Wale has again lauded the remarkable growth and success of Nigerian music globally.

In the wake of Asake’s sensational performance in his massive sold-out show at the 20,000-capacity London O2 Arena on Sunday, August 20, Shatta Wale affirmed that Naija music stars are way ahead of their Ghanaian counterparts.

He contrasted the musical prowess of the two West African nations, likening Ghana’s to babies’ feeding bottles and Nigeria’s to one of the world’s most expensive cognac brand bottles.

The ‘We Taking Over’ singer also expressed his hearty congratulation to YBNL’s Asake on his incredible outing, reiterating Naija’s colossal mark on the global music stage.

He also suggested Ghanaian singers could begin to rub shoulders with Nigeria if they quit being judgmental towards others.
He tweeted: “Nigerians are making Ghana music look like feeding bottle compared to Hennessey bottle. Congrats to Asake meeenn!!! You guys deh run tooo fast …F^ck!

PS: Some Ghana man say how do they do it ..

Me: when you stop judging people here like you are angels, I think we can get the formula. Naija is winning BIG TIME !!! My people.”
