Liverpool are set to hijack Brighton midfielder, Moisés Caicedo from rivals Chelsea as the Reds have submitted a bid higher than the Blues.
According to famous football transfer journalist, Fabrizio Romano, the Liverpool’s bid of about £110m is receiving good attention of the Brighton hierarchy.
Chelsea have earlier this month submitted an £80m offer that was rejected by Brighton.
Moisés Caicedo will become Liverpool player today Friday, if all goes to plan and a medical has been booked by the Merseyside club.
Jurgen Klopp has prioritized a defensive midfielder since former captain, Jordan Henderson announced his move to Saudi Arabia.
Henderson’s exit came weeks after Brazilian Fabinho has also left the team.
