President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has assigned portfolios to 45 ministers who were recently screened and confirmed by the National Assembly.
Tinubu appointed former Governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi as the Minister of Works, while former Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has been assigned to Ministry of Federal Capital Territory.
Immediate past Osun and Plateau Governors, Adegboyega Oyetola and Simon Lalong will oversee Transportation and Labour and Employment Ministries respectively.
National Women leader of the All Progressives Congress, Dr Betta Edu will be in charge of Humanitarian Affairs and Disaster Management, Lateef Fagbemi, who is a Senior Advocate of Nigeria was named Attorney General of Minister of Justice.
Adebayo Adelabu, a former Deputy Governor at the Central Bank will oversee Power, Dele Alake, Solid Minerals Resources; Bosun Tijani, Communication, Innovation and Digital Economy; Dr Ali Pate, Health; Festus Keyamo, Aviation and Aerospace Development; Wale Edun, Finance and Coordinating Minister of Economy.
