Mukhtar Abiodun Ajelogbon De-Moon, an esteemed News Editor, Reporter and On Air Personality at Diamond 87.7 FM Ilorin has officially resigned from the radio station after 34 months (2 years and 10 months) as a pioneer staff.

While biding the organization farewell in his official Facebook post over the weekend, Ajelogbon said.

“After fervently contributing to the success and growth of Diamond 87.7FM Ilorin for about three years, it is with mixed emotions that I have made the personal decision to tender my resignation. This decision was reached after thoughtful consideration, and I believe it is the right time for new opportunities and personal growth in my career.

“I am proud to have been a part of a dedicated pioneer team that consistently delivered reliable and high-quality news content and commentary to our valued listeners. I have had the privilege of working alongside exceptionally talented colleagues who share the same passion and commitment to delivering accurate and timely news updates.

“I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Diamond 87.7FM for providing me with this incredible platform to contribute to the broadcasting industry. I am grateful for the trust and support I have received from the management team, the entire staff and the Chairman of Bright Broadcasting Ltd, who have made my journey here immensely rewarding.

“Furthermore, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to our listeners and the wider community for their unwavering support throughout my stay. Your continued engagement has been a source of inspiration, and it has been my utmost pleasure to serve you through my News Editing, Commentary, Adequate correspondence from the Kwara State House of Assembly, and Award Winning on-air presence as the Best Political Presenter of the year 2022 in Kwara State.

“My experience in media covers the three major areas of journalism. I am resuming back to my previous position as the Chief Executive Officer and Editor-In-Chief at De-Moon Media Links (Publisher of the OsunRepoters News Print and Online) domicile in the capital city of Osun State, Osogbo with immediate effect.”

Ajelogbon was until his resignation, the anchor of popular Ela loro, a political programme held on every Sunday.
