In a recent escalation of the Russia-Ukraine conflict, a series of drone strikes targeted multiple regions within Russia, causing significant damage to military installations and key infrastructure. Moscow has vowed that Ukraine will face consequences for the attacks. Meanwhile, Kyiv experienced its heaviest bombardment in months as part of its counter-offensive strategy.

Drones struck various Russian regions, damaging military planes, a fuel depot, and a microelectronics factory. While Ukrainian officials stated that most of the missiles and drones were intercepted, two people were killed in the attacks. These strikes are believed to be part of Ukraine’s strategy to disrupt Russian supply lines as it faces a full-scale invasion.

The attacks targeted valuable military assets, including long-range cargo planes used for troop and equipment transport. Ukrainian forces have been employing this strategy of “starve, stretch, and strike” to weaken Russia’s frontline troops. As tensions continue to rise, both sides engage in aggressive tactics, leading to civilian casualties and significant destruction in the region.
