The Lagos State Police Command has confirmed the arrest of Balogun Olamilekan Eletu, aka Sam Larry in connection with death of popular Singer, Ilerioluwa Aloba also known as Mohbad.
The Police confirmed that Sam Larry is in its custody via a statement on its Facebook page on Thursday night.
The short statement reads, “Update From Lagos State Police Command: Balogun Olamilekan Eletu aka Sam Larry is now in our custody. He is currently assisting with ongoing investigation.”
Sam Larry and Singer Azeez Fashola aka Naira Marley have been heavily linked with the death of MohBad who died on Tuesday September 12 at the age of 27.
Videos emerged shortly of how Eletu led attack on Mohbad while on set with popular Singer Zlatan.
The Royal family of Elegushi has since denied any tie with Sam Larry, stating that he only came to the Palace of Oba Saheed Elegushi to seek royal blessings.
Naira Marley, who is currently out of the country, on Wednesday revealed that he is ready to clear his name on the matter and set to fly into the country on provided his security is guaranteed.
