Event promoter and manager, Paul Okoye has advocated for an end to bullying and harassment.
He made this recommendation while mourning his younger friend, singer MohBad who died on Tuesday, September 12.
Mohbad’s demise has been characterized by a number of controversies going by emerging conflicting reports.
Though he was buried on Wednesday, September 13, according to Islamic rites, the online community wished the family had agreed to conduct an autopsy in order to ascertain the cause of death and put paid to most speculations.
As friends, family members, colleagues, and well-wishers continue to mourn the passing of the once promising songster, Paulo in an Instagram story post, paid tribute to the “Blessed” star.
He recalled listening to Mohbad lament about his fears alongside the constant harassment and bullying he was subjected to.
Paulo noted that the people the 27-year-old musical act hung around and lived, unrestrained till his last moment.
Expressing his grief, the popular show promoter wrote: “I am beyond words. Just now, I was with you in London. You opened up on your fears, harassment, the depression. But you remained resilient, full of life, a shining star and like that; you’re gone.
“I’m deeply saddened. Rest in eternal peace, Mohbad!!! My friend. #stopbullying #stopharassment.”
