Former Deputy Governor of Osun State, Otunba(Mrs) Grace Titi Tomori-Ponnle, has congratulated the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Alhaji Gboyega Oyetola, on his 69th birthday anniversary.
Tomori-Ponnle in a statement issued in Osogbo, the Osun State capital today, stated that the actions and inactions of Oyetola, the former state governor, in both private and public offices, are indicative of the fact that he is a consummate and selfless political leader who has been serving his people dispassionately.
The former state deputy governor disclosed that her close working relationship with the ‘Birthday Boy’ showed that behind his complete gentle nature is the ability to function effectively in both private and public offices.
She described him as an embodiment of uncommon talents to manage both human and financial resources in the overall interest of the people.
Mrs Tomori-Ponnle disclosed that Osun State was indeed very lucky to have Alhaji Oyetola as the state governor duping his tenure as it’s on record that his administration, to a large extent, provided solutions to some of the seemingly intractable challenges facing the state despite the paucity of funds that glaringly faced his four-year stint as the state governor.
She explained that his gentle nature could not be subjected to a debate and this has won for him so many political laurels willingly conferred on him by so many corporate bodies both within and outside the shores of this nation.
She disclosed that he was convinced beyond reasonable doubt that the birthday celebrator would make a meaningful difference as the pioneer Minister of Marine and Blue Economy because of his sterling qualities like zeal and zest, sound education; discipline and resilience.
According to Mrs Tomori-Ponnle: “As you are celebrating your 69th birthday anniversary today, on behalf of my immediate family, my highly esteemed husband, Engr (Prince) Tunde Ponnle and members of my political family, I am congratulating you and pray for you to celebrate many more fruitful years on earth.
“May Allah continue to assist you in your efforts to paddle the canoe of the new ministry of Marine and Blue Economy to an enviable status.
” May the source of the massive human likeness for you not turn into that of hatred in your entire journey of life,” the former Osun State deputy governor prayed.
