In light of the tragic passing of Alhaji Jimoh Oyekanmi, the chairman of the Ede North Caretaker Committee, Hon. Adewumi Adeyemi, better known as Irekandu, has offered condolences to the family, leaders and members of the People’s Democratic Party in Osun State.

While calling Oyekanmi’s passing as a devastating loss, Adeyemi revealed that he was rudely surprised when he learned of the tragic news.
The caretaker chairman, according to him, was a notable politician and savvy player who was fiercely loyal to a fault and devoted to serving the public.
Adeyemi further stated that the party leaders, particularly the wonderful people of Ede North who have benefited from his compassion and outstanding leadership, would dearly miss the temporary chairman.
The 39-year-old lawmaker expressed his sympathy to the administration of Osun State, especially Ede North Local administration, while pleading with God to grant the family the strength to endure the irreplaceable loss.
