The Nigerian Institute of Management (Chartered) Osun State Branch has congratulated the Governor of the State, Senator Ademola Adeleke on his first anniversary as governor.
The Chairman of the Institute, Olatunde Bello (FNIM) while addressing newsmen on Wednesday in Osogbo, lauded the achievements of the Governor in 12 months.
Bello noted that the Governor has touched almost every facet of lives in the State, particularly in the area of manpower development and capacity building of the State’s workshop.
According to him, the Governor resuscitated training and re-training of staff through sponsorship of public servants to conferences and workshops.
“The Governor also paid serious attention to the welfare of public servants which has really motivated them for enhanced productivity. He also stated that the Governor recently reviewed the duty tour allowances of public officers to rates that are economically realistic and humane.”
He added that “civil servants have suffered hardship in the past but the coming of Governor Adeleke has changed the narrative to a better one.”
“Infrastructural development of Osun State has become more obvious as the Governor has distributed physical developmental projects evenly across the State.”
The body urged the Governor to sustain the good work as he continues to deliver dividends of democracy to the good people of Osun State.
