A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and former Commissioner for Finance in Osun State, Mrs Remi Wilson has been confirmed dead.
Mrs Wilson was confirmed dead in the early hours of Tuesday at her home in Ilobu, Irepodun local government area of Osun State.
Sources told InsightMedia that she celebrated the Christmas festival with some guests who were at her home till late on Monday evening.
“She was active till 9pm yesterday (Monday). She had guests at her house till late and no one noticed any sign of sickness. Everything happened around 4am this morning,” the source said.
Mrs Wilson served as Commissioner for Finance and later Former Women Affairs under the administration of former Governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola.
