The top five African teams were completed by Algeria and Egypt, finishing the year at the 30th and 33rd positions globally, respectively.
In the global football landscape, the reigning world champions, Argentina, continued to lead the rankings following their 1-0 triumph over Brazil in the World Cup qualifier held last month. France secured the second position, with England, Belgium, and Brazil rounding up the top five.
