The Youth for Democracy and Change (YDC) has praised Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State for nominating a member of the National Youths Service Corps (NYSC), Musa Nafeesah Buge, as a Commissioner.
In a press statement, the Director of Media and Publicity of YDC, Abdulbaki Kure, said Governor AbdulRazaq’s commitment to youth and women’s inclusion in government is unparalleled.
“Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State leads the chart in allowing youths and women to serve in government.
“We commend the governor’s nomination of Buge, a witty corps member who is also one of the most outstanding youths in the state,” Kure said.
The nomination of Buge, who was born on March 15, 1997, came as no surprise to YDC, as the governor has always shown admiration for youth and women’s inclusion in government.
Buge holds a BSc in Library and Information Science from the University Of Ilorin, Kwara State, Nigeria.
YDC stated that Buge’s nomination was based on her exemplary track record and the governor’s recognition and appreciation of excellence. Previously, Buge served in various positions, including a member of the Kwara State Judiciary Panel of Enquiring into EndSARS protest, a member of the Niger State House of Assembly Membership Screening Appeal Committee, the House Assembly Primary Election Appeal Committee as a member and AG Chairman of the Panel in Niger State, Secretary of Grass Root Engagement and Orientation North Central of Tinubu/Shettima Presidential Campaign Council, Secretary Kwara North Development Council (KWANDCO) and Treasurer Kwara Progressive Media Organizations (KPMO).
