The final of Noah Olawuwo Oderinu Foundation has begun in Osogbo, the state capital of Osun State.

The contest, which started with 262 across 24 local areas of Osun State, was organized by Noah Olawuwo Oderinu Foundation.

According to the Director of the Foundation, Adedayo Oderinu, the event aimed to reawaken the eroding debating and public speaking among students of public schools.

Six schools from the three senatorial districts are currently competing for the grand prizes.

Present at the event ongoing at Osogbo Grammar School are galaxy of dignitaries led by the Olowu of Kuta, Oba Adekunle Makama Oyelude, CON, staff of the ministry of education, among others.

Schools in the final are Oroki High School, Osogbo; Iwo Grammar School, Iwo; Ido-Osun High School, Ido-Osun; Our Lady’s Girls High School, Modakeke; Ila Grammar School, Ila-Orangun and Ijebu-Jesa Grammar School, Ijebu-Jesa.

Two students are representing each of the schools as the vocal combat is underway.
