The Managing Trustee of New Era National Islamic Propagation Centre Nigeria, Dr. Abdur Rauf Adisa Kolawole, has paid West African Examination Council enrollment fees for a student of Islahudeen Grammar School Osogbo, Osun State capital.

Making the payment for Olayiwola Aminat May/June 2024 WAEC, Kolawole said it was in furtherance of their humanitarian gesture of the organization.

Miss Olayiwola Aminat is one of the best students of Islahudeen Grammar School, but unfortunately her parents could not afford to pay the WAEC fees.

While presenting the cheque of N37,000 to the student and her parents, Dr. Abdur Rauf Kolawole said “he has chosen to help the less privileged not because he’s too rich , but he knows the terrible pain of having little or nothing”.

He noted that he has once been in the same condition with one of his friends Dr. Saliu Akinlabi who he said they both went to work as farm labourers at Odemuyiwa village via Garage Olode to pay their GCE A level in 1984.

He further reiterated that you only remember the past when its memory gives you joy.

Dr. Kolawole quoted his popular saying “what I kept I lost, what I gave I kept” he said it gives him inner Joy and satisfaction to give out to the people out of the little that he has.

“Everything in the universe does nothing except what God assigns”, he said

The great Islamic scholar, however, urged the beneficiary to make good use of the opportunity and to be kind and merciful to people when she is in a position to assist others.

The managing trustee further said that New Era will soon begin food distribution items to widows, orphans and indigent people to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy removal in Nigeria.

He fervently prayed Allah Azzal Wajalah to reward all the members of board of trustee, committed staffs and donors.
