The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Southwest Nigeria, Engr. Kamoru Toyese Ajisafe Esq, has disagreed with the statement of the National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Sen. Ajibola Basiru, who posited that Osun State is currently on auto-pilot.

Responding to the claim of the former Senate Spokesperson, Ajisafe described the current leadership of the state as one with a serious focus on the development of the people and the state. He added that Osun State under the auspice of The Governor Sen. Ademola Adeleke, is well motivated in getting the state out of the doldrums posed by the Oyetola led-administration.

Ajisafe established that the allegation from Sen. Ajibola Basiru “is a pointer to the weakness of APC as a party and would take time to heal from the wounds of their party’s lost to the Peoples Democratic Party in the last gubernatorial election in the state”.

He enjoined the people of Osun to disregard the statement as it appears like a means of inciting the people against the working governor at this critical time —promising that the emerging infrastructural development in the state will go round the nooks and crannies of the state for overall growth and development.

“To my belief and the hope of the people, the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, will emerge in Edo and Ondo and our party will continue to flourish in future elections for national leadership at the center”, he said.
