Senator representing Anambra South and business mogul Senator Ifeanyi Ubah is dead.

The Anambra Senator was said to have slumped and passed away in a London hotel.

Ubah, who defected to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, a few months ago, was billed to seek the party’s ticket ahead of the Anambra State governorship election.

Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu has confirmed the death of the Senator representing Anambra South, Ifeanyi Ubah.

Senator Ubah who recently defected from the Young Progressives Party, YPP to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC died in a London hotel in United Kingdom two days after leaving Nigeria for his son’s graduation.

He had left for London two days ago. Ubah was a Nigerian Politician, entrepreneur and businessman who until his death served as the CEO of Capital Oil (CCO), which he founded in 2001.

The deceased was married to Uchenna, a Business Administration graduate from Ahmadu Bello University in Nigeria, with whom he had 5 children. He also ran a foundation which is named after himself; Ifeanyi Ubah Foundation.

But a source claimed he made a monetary donation to the Anambra APC two days ago.

This is coming just few days after the President-General of Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Chief Emmanuel Iwuanyanwu passed away.
