What started peacefully later became chaotic as soldiers invaded the land while clearing was ongoing and arrested machine operators.

Land Owners who were at the scene rescued one of the operators while the uniform men ran away with the other.

While speaking with the newsmen, The Oluponna of Osogbo land and Chairman of Kelebe-Omu Landowners Association, Chief Ahmadu Akanbi explained that they came in to their land today to get work started, only for them to be interrupted and harassed by the Soldiers.

“We only came here to work this morning, to begin some construction on the land, when the Soliders came, harassed us, took away the machine operators from the land.

“The Court has declared us the certified owners since 2023, and the Army didn’t even appeal the judgement, even the stay of execution they took to Court, the Court dismissed it, they should allow us to have our peace and they shouldn’t disturb us anymore ” , he added.
