The Osun Online Publishers Association (OOPA) has announced the Osun Digital Media Week 2024, scheduled for December 4th to 6th, 2024.

In a release signed by the Planning Committee Chairman, Adesoji Omosebi, he explained that this year’s Digital Week which will feature a crucial public lecture titled “The Impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) on Digital Media in the 21st Century,” will provide valuable insights into how AI is transforming the digital media landscape, equipping members with knowledge and tools to navigate these changes effectively.

 

The event will also honor distinguished personalities through award presentations, highlighting their impactful roles in various sectors, while an online voting method will be transparently adopted for the general public to select the award recipients.

Additionally, the Osun Digital Media Week will encompass a variety of activities aimed at promoting community engagement and social responsibility.

These activities include visitation and donation to an orphanage home, corporate social responsibility through donation of public waste bins to two selected markets, public lecture and award presentations, refresher course for Osun online publishers, and visitation to tourist centres in Osun.

 

However, OOPA invites all stakeholders, including media professionals, government representatives, and community members, to participate in this enriching event.
