Governor Ademola Adeleke has denied viral news reports that he rebuked Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang of Plateau state over his stance on the PDP leadership crisis during a recent virtual meeting of the PDP Governors’ Forum.

Responding to the media reports in a section of the media, the Governor in a statement by Olawale Rasheed, his Spokesperson, posited that he was on his way to Akure in his capacity as the Chairman of the PDP Governorship Campaign Council for Ondo state while the meeting was ongoing, adding that a bad network sabotaged his participation at the meeting.

He clarified that there was never a time he attacked or accused the Plateau Governor of infractions and weakness in the protection of the rights of the North Central within the PDP.

According to the Governor , his participation at the virtual meeting was largely disrupted by the connection crisis, affirming he is fully in support of resolutions reached at the meeting.

“As a loyal party man, I stand with the PDP Constitution as I have reiterated since the beginning of the crisis and I know this position was shared by my brother , the Plateau state Governor and many others.

“ So I urged the public to discountenance the media reports. My brother, Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang, was not pressured by me to back the PDP Constitution. He is a strong party man with deep loyalty to the PDP Constitution “, Governor Adeleke was quoted as saying in a statement issued on Thursday.
