Governor of Edo State, Monday Okpebholo, has sworn in the Secretary to the State Government and the State Attorney-General and Commissioner of Justice.
Musa Ikhilor, a lawyer, assumed office as SSG, while Samson Osagie also a lawyer, was sworn in as the Attorney-General of the State and Commissioner for Justice.
The swearing -in ceremony on Wednesday followed Governor Okpebholo’s announcement of their nomination on Tuesday.
The Governor in his charge to the new appointees sought their support for his vision to provide good governance to the people of Edo who he is committed to working for.
The new Secretary to the State Government, Mr Ikhilor as well as the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Mr Osagie pledged to join the governor in delivering practical governance and serve Edo people, deploying their expertise and experience to the best of their abilities.
