No fewer than six persons were reportedly killed as fire engulf a residential apartment in Ede, Osun State.
The incident occured Monday midnight at Adeyemi area, Ede.
According to eyewitnesses, the apartment which belongs to a custom officer went into flame overnight and only one person among the occupants survived.
“The house belongs to a custom officer and it went into flame during the night. The only person who survived was reading during the incident and all his efforts to wake up others during the inferno proved abortive.” The eyewitness said.
It was gathered the husband, wife, children and a friend lost their lives to the incident.
