Vincent Martin Otse popularly known as VeryDarkMan has said N78m has been recovered from the N160m stolen from the account of his nongovernmental organization.
VDM has on Frida said the website of his NGO was hacked and N160m out of N180m in the account was stolen.
Given update on Sunday, VDM said his team has recovered a sum of N78m from some individuals.
He said the other person involving has allegedly fled to Ghana and his team will be visiting Ghana very soon.
“I want to confirm that N78m has been recovered from the stolen amount. The person said that his partner has left to Ghana and we will soon be visiting Ghana.”
Giving more details, VDM said the attacks to his NGO website was launched from United States, Nigeria, Israel and Singapore, with the US IP having the highest of the attacks.
VDM faced heavy criticisms from Nigerians after he announced that his NGO website was compromised and some money was transferred out.
