It was a drubbing for Osun West as the maiden Osun Facebook Hangout Novelty Match was held on Friday in Osogbo.
The encounter, which was between Osun West and Osun Central ended 5:1 in favour of the Central Senatorial District.
The Osun Central led by former Senior Special Assistant to Governor Adegboyega Oyetola on Students Matter and Social Mobilization, Kehinde Ayantunji were so clinical and straight to business as they scored four goals in the first half of the encounter.
At the start of the second, the Osun West team, inspired from the touchline by Mr Funmiso Babarinde, an aide of Governor Ademola Adeleke, responded by scoring first in the second through a free kick well taken by Junkid.
But the goal only served as consolation as four goals-lead was restored a few minutes later.
After the match, players from both sides gathered to celebrate the birthday of Mr Funmiso Babarinde.
