Osun State Governor, Senator Ademola Adeleke, has been recognized as the Governor of the Year 2024 by Leadership Newspapers.
During the official presentation ceremony at the Government House, Governor Adeleke expressed his gratitude, stating, “I thank you for this recognition. It will further propel us to serve our people better.”
The Governor emphasized the importance of unity and collaboration in achieving the association’s goals.
“I’m not allowing the praises to enter my head. While it may be true that I have delivered a four-year task in under two years, I am propelled to do more because Osun has been left behind on many fronts.”
Governor Adeleke highlighted his administration’s achievements, including reducing the infrastructure deficit by over 40% and improving access to primary healthcare.
He outlined his plans for the new administration, focusing on ensuring growth and development in the community.
The Governor also announced upcoming projects, including the remodeling of the Osogbo stadium to international standards, the dualization of the Odoori-Post Office road at Iwo, and the completion of the Iwo-Osogbo road project.
In his response to the award, Governor Adeleke dedicated it to the people of Osun State.
“I dedicate this award to the good people of Osun state. They made our positive records a reality”, he stated.
