Popular Nigerian businessman and socialite, Pascal Okechukwu, known as Cubana Chief Priest, has denied accusations made by a Kenyan woman who claims he fathered her child.
The socialite insists the allegations are part of a calculated attempt to sabotage his marriage.
The woman, Helen, has repeatedly accused Chief Priest of abandoning her and their alleged son, but Cubana Chief Priest has consistently denied these claims.
Speaking on the Rubbin’ Minds show on Sunday, hosted by Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, the businessman firmly stated he has never met Helen and denied fathering the child.
He suggested that her actions are intended to destabilize his marriage rather than seeking justice for herself or her child.
“I love children and believe they are gifts from God, no matter the circumstances,” he said during the interview. “I am more than capable of taking care of my children, should they come my way.”
Cubana Chief Priest also emphasized that his marriage is the greatest blessing of his life and that the accusations have not caused any strain in his relationship with his wife.
He described their bond as deeper than just marriage, explaining that they are also business partners and close associates.
“My marriage is the best thing that has ever happened to me, and these attacks are clearly aimed at it,” he added.
When asked if he would have accepted the child if it were his, he responded affirmatively, adding, “Of course. I would have accepted. I am willing to take a test to prove my innocence. But you can’t attack me so fiercely and expect my loyalty in return.”
The businessman explained that this issue had been ongoing for some time, though he does not know the people behind the accusations.
He also expressed skepticism about Helen’s intentions, pointing out that she only resurfaces during moments when he is in the public eye for other controversies, suggesting her motives may be less about finding the child’s father and more about creating drama.
